Restore your self-belief in no time!

In this life, self confidence plays quite a role in separating the great from the common. Take a minute and imagine if Muhammed Ali – the famous boxer – didn’t believe in himself and quit along the way or if Mozart - the well renowned composer of classical music, stopped striving for what he wanted. What would the world be like?

Well, the truth is, it would be just fine! Life would go on as usual regardless of how confident you are feeling at this very moment. The only difference would be that those people would have missed their place in history. Lives that would have been impacted by either of them would have been changed by some other people or by no one at all.

So, think twice every time you doubt yourself. You will not only affect your life by being ordinary – there is nothing worse than this – but you will miss your chance at greatness and also derail the destinies of the people whose lives were meant to be changed for the better by you.

Everybody is born with self confidence; some more than others. However, there could come a time where you feel like you’ve totally lost your sense of conviction. It could be through some bad experience you had, that caused life to lose the meaning it once had before and are now wondering how to get your self belief back.

Worry no more. These tips could be just the answer you’ve been searching for.

Explore yourself!

How well do you know yourself? Your answer is probably quite well. That’s okay. Almost everyone thinks they fully know themselves until you ask them how well they don’t know themselves.

The difference here is that the first question touches on what the individual is consciously aware of about themselves, while the second on the attributes that the person is unaware of. These attributes are also a part of you. So, they need to be known.

It is important to be aware of all your strengths and weaknesses and to know what forms the totality of your being.

You can only achieve this through exploration and recording of experiences in your mind. For instance, the more people you interact with, the more you become acquainted with contrasting personalities. Your mind then records this and offers you options of how to deal with all of them, thus forming your dissimilar reactions to different people.

The knowledge of your strengths and weaknesses, will help you form a clear and realistic perception about yourself. From this, you can define yourself and use that definition in your affirmations. For instance, instead of saying – “I am a winner”, try saying something more specific like, “I might hate losing but that’s only because I love trying my best”. See, more realistic and if you were to lose, you wouldn’t feel that bad about it.

Have you tried the ancient art of meditation?

Meditation has proven to be a great way to relive past experiences and also unlock personal potential. According to some studies, it can actually help you gain access to the power of your subconscious mind.

Awesome, right! Remember, things like core values and beliefs are stored in this part of your brain. Most of the time, you might not be aware of what enters your sub-conscious mind, especially because information usually enters our minds freely during our daily activities. For example, it could be very difficult not to hear or see a harassment done by your boss. However, through constant meditation, you’ll be able to align your brainwaves into more advanced states, thus giving you more control over what and how you feed your mind. After gaining such control, you’ll now be able to channel the right information to your sub conscious.

Just take meditation to be a form of silent affirmation, only more powerful and convincing.

So, what you need to do now is enroll in a meditation class and humm away! This will help you replace that part of your brain with low self esteem with confidence and new-found self belief.

Try it and watch yourself gaining self belief sooner than you think.
